SAR Advocacy Breaks New Records

In 2021, Savannah Area REALTORS®(SAR) had the 4th highest RPAC participation, 5th highest percentage over goal, and the 30th highest dollar amount among the over 1,300+ REALTOR® associations in the nation, firmly setting new records for RPAC success in the state of Georgia. Today, SAR is pleased to announce that its record-shattering progress continues as with 82% participation, over 208% over NAR goal, and a whopping $146,000 raised for RPAC. SAR is poised to remain one of the most highly optimized local associations in terms of not just REALTOR® associations, but all professional and trade associations throughout the nation.

“Our success is in large part because of ours members’ understanding that RPAC and REALTOR® Party programs and advocacy is so deeply ingrained into member-culture in this association. Our members know that federal, state, and local advocacy efforts are often the first and last line of defense in preventing costly regulation that both impairs the real estate market and negatively impacts home ownership,” said Cody Jones, Governmental Affairs Director for SAR. “The leadership of both the Savannah Area REALTORS® and the Savannah Multi-List Corporation have been on the forefront of supporting advocacy programs and through their continued effort and the hard work of the REALTOR® Party Committee and the association’s Major Investors our success will repeat itself in 2023 as well.”
