Savannah Area REALTORS® and Savannah Multi List Corporation welcome Cody Jones as Governmental Affairs Director

Cody Jones has joined Savannah Area REALTORS® (SAR) and the Savannah Multi List Corporation (SMLC) as Governmental Affairs Director.

“Advocating for policies that encourage home ownership and protect private property rights is a critical function of our association, and Cody Jones will play key role on our advocacy efforts,” said Steve Candler, Savannah Area REALTORS® CEO. “Cody’s experience as both a legislative strategist and association executive will make him a valuable addition to our team.”

Jones, a native of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, previously served as senior strategist to legislative leaders in the state of Alabama, as a former REALTOR® Association Executive in Alabama. He most recently finished the administration of the 2020 Census and outreach activities business as Senior Partnership Specialist for the U.S. Department of Commerce in the southeast’s Atlanta Region. Jones is a graduate of the University of Alabama and spends his free time raising his Black Labrador and Walker Hound in addition to keeping honeybees.
