Savannah Area’s Young Council of REALTORS® supports efforts to combat child abuse and neglect with contribution to Lifeline for Children

Members of the Savannah Area REALTORS®’ (SAR) Young Council of REALTORS® (YCR) recently presented a $2,000 donation check to Lifeline for Children, a Chatham County charity that provides resources and advocates for victims of child abuse and neglect.

“This contribution is a tremendous example of the constant efforts our REALTOR® members make to improve our community,” said SAR CEO Steve Candler. “I am proud of our young professionals’ efforts to help Chatham County’s youth.”

Bill Miltiades, Sharon Brookshire, Tommy Danos, Tina Boaen, Shanna Anderson and Melanie Edwards presented the check to Lifeline for Children.

Lifeline for Children began in 1977 as an advising council for Georgia’s Division of Family and Children Services. The charity then evolved into a community-based volunteer organization in support of the prevention and care services provided by Georgia’s Division of Family and Children Services. Lifeline for Children also provides services and hosts events for community agencies, counseling services and the Georgia school board. For more information call (912) 484-2418.
